In light of recent headlines of MEN BEHAVING LIKE PIGS...
The World to Men: "You're all pigs."
Religion to Men: "You have a pig nature that you must fight an unending, excruciating, uphill battle to overcome. Perhaps you'd be better off castrated!"
Jesus to men: "My Dear Brother, You are of great value to Me, and I LOVE YOU so much! When you see Me for Who I am you will see yourself for who I created you to be; then you will learn to think, speak and act in accordance with that reality. Such a Life will not function through human toil. It shall flow out of Divine Rest! Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."
Women were created to be treated as Princesses.
Men were created to treat them as such.
ALL need to know His Love, along with the beauty of human sexuality within its context!
Teaching students that they came from apes and church folks that they are "New Creatures" with a giant ASTERISK ("sin nature") certainly hasn't helped the porn, rape, and "blame women" culture in America...or anywhere else.
Hearing about Aly Raisman's experience was gut wrenching. Seeing the disgusting comments from SO many men on FB is absolutely chilling...and makes me want to vomit.
I'm not being "holier than thou". I used to seriously objectify women before coming to the saving knowledge of my identity in Christ. I can tell you with 100% certainty that His Grace is beyond sufficient for us to Love our wives and treat women as Mothers, Sisters, and Daughters...instead of second-class, subservient sex objects.
Men will only stop behaving like animals and spiritual half-breeds when they find their truest identity in Christ/Love...and begin to recognize women for the beautiful, irreplaceable expressions of God's feminine side that they truly are!
What religion reads to you: Romans 6:11 "Likewise reckon yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
What religion teaches you: "Reckon yourselves to be very much alive unto sin, but dead unto God, regardless of Jesus Christ our Lord,...until some future day in the sweet bye and bye."
When we RECKON things as our Loving Father does, we begin to act accordingly. Sin isn't a "nature", it is a mindset rooted in a false identity...which is fueled by disagreeing with God...OR quenched by taking Him at His Word and walking in agreement with His Spirit!
